Ava Lee Diamonds started the way most good ideas do — with frustration.

We went shopping for fine jewelry the same way you probably have: comparing sites, reading fine print, trying to understand why two nearly identical lab-grown diamond rings could be priced thousands of dollars apart. What we found was an industry built on markup. Lab-grown diamonds had made beautiful jewelry more attainable than ever, but too many retailers were simply pocketing the difference — charging mined-diamond prices for lab-grown stones and counting on customers not to know better.

We knew better, and we decided the public should too.

We come to this from the trade side: before opening our own doors, we spent years in wholesale fine jewelry, supplying the very pieces other stores put their names on. That's where we learned what jewelry actually costs to make — and how much of a typical price tag is pure markup.

Ava Lee Diamonds exists to close that gap. We price our jewelry fairly and transparently, the way we wished someone had priced it for us. Every piece is assembled in America and ships from the United States — no overseas fulfillment mysteries, no six-week waits, no wondering where your jewelry actually came from.

Our lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds — chemically, optically, and physically identical to mined stones, independently graded to the same standards. The only difference is origin, and the only thing that should change because of it is the price. That's the promise: honest stones, solid 14K gold, fair prices, and a straight answer to every question.
